In my Branding course, I took on the challenge of reimagining the identity for the Please Touch Museum, a beloved Philadelphia institution dedicated to hands-on learning and creativity. The goal was to design a visual system that felt as playful as the museum’s exhibits while maintaining a sense of credibility and trust for parents and educators.
Starting with sketches and black-and-white explorations, I experimented with shapes, symbols, and typographic forms that conveyed motion and curiosity. From there, I developed a series of colorful, child-friendly logo variations that could adapt across formats and contexts. The final system embraces bold hues, rounded forms, and a modular structure that allows for flexibility across print, signage, and digital platforms.
Every element—from logo composition to color application—was designed to capture the museum’s joyful spirit and interactive mission. This project deepened my understanding of how brand identity can bridge audiences, communicating both playfulness and professionalism in a cohesive visual language.
