Poster Design

This collection showcases a series of posters created across multiple design courses, each exploring different approaches to typography, layout, and visual storytelling. From conceptual explorations to promotional designs, every poster challenged me to think critically about hierarchy, balance, and communication. Together, they represent an ongoing study in how type, image, and composition can transform an idea into an impactful visual statement.

PH 5 Pendant Lamp Poster

This poster highlights Poul Henningsen’s PH 5 Pendant for the Vitra Design Museum’s Lamps Collection. I paired clean, modern typography with imagery that emphasizes the lamp’s geometry and functional design. The final outcome communicates both the technical innovation and sculptural beauty of Henningsen’s work in a way that feels educational yet visually striking.

Morisot Exhibition Poster

This poster series was designed for the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s exhibition Berthe Morisot: Woman Impressionist. Using layered typography, painterly textures, and a bold black-and-white palette, I created a visual identity that reflects Morisot’s avant-garde style while keeping the exhibition details clear and legible. The series merges historical content with contemporary design, giving the posters both impact and accessibility.

Philadelphia Fringe Festival Poster Series

For the Fringe Festival 2025, I created a poster series for three different performances: Silly Little Things, Mannequin, and Unfolding. Using scanner-distorted typography, I developed a system that gave each poster its own mood while keeping a consistent visual DNA across the series. The result balances expressive type treatments with clear hierarchy, tying together three unique shows under one cohesive festival identity.

Mental Health Poster

I designed a poster on mental health inspired by the geometric abstraction of Max Bill. Through layered shapes, bold colors, and uplifting typography, the design communicates both the complexity of the issue and a sense of positivity. The call to action — encouraging conversation and awareness — makes the poster supportive and approachable while tackling a difficult subject.
